ToysHeart Atelier Buying Guide

ToysHeart Atelier Buying Guide

TAC Staff

We often get asked questions like, "What's the best one?", or "What does it feel like", when it comes to onaholes. How do you know which item is best for you? Online reviews are often disguised as product placements, or written up as fast as it takes to rub one out.

Well we aim to change that!

Each one of the Atelier (French for Workshop) onaholes is unique in its design, focusing on a character with backstory to drive every part of the theme. From the packaging to the toy itself, ToysHeart has crafted unique experiences for each item. So let's begin the guide with your first option:

Alchemist

The first thing we're going to start with is the box. Each Atelier box unfolds with three panels with detailed artwork on each side. You'll encounter blueprints and lore on the inside; something to immerse yourself in before unwrapping the toy.

You're also going to find some extra things in the box. Atelier's come with a storage place for extra tools. The tool in this case is a diatomite drying stick. Who doesn't like free stuff?

Alchemist Design

The lore behind the design is the alchemist is on a mission to repopulate her world, but synthetic means have failed. So she now uses her own body to collect a man's "magic", and the more she collects, the better.

As you can see, the deep pocket at the end of the toy is the collection area. It's more than just for looks though!

What about the insides?

The first thing you encounter are highly raised, textured lumps which stimulate the sides and underneath; the first "extraction chamber".

From there the channel narrows, and the wavy pattern continues. This "spiral structure" can be felt as you push through the first opening. It tightens up while still allowing you to glide deeper. At this point the toy feels snug, with a medium amount of stimulation. Each section is a nice design that is there to compliment the real star of the show; Section 3: The Cavity.

Lore wise, this area is the section that helps collect the liquid. But what it functionally does is add a comfortable amount of suction. The pocket collects air, which you squeeze out, thus creating a vacuum effect and an amazing slurping sound. It's a relaxing toy that feels like it's meant to extract your "magic", one suck at a time. From here you can back out of the toys last chamber to release some of that air, and repeat the stroke as many times as it takes. The entrance to the last chamber is tight, "uterus" design, which you can definitely feel. It provides a nice extra bit of sensation as you push to the deepest part. The inside of the last chamber is also lined with ridges. It's meant to perfectly hug the end of your mushroom while providing some extra stimulation as you move around in it.

Durability

No issues so far detected, and it's difficult to see where it might break down. It's a rather simple design, 3 chambers, a single mold and material, with no small parts to break off. It's a medium firmness toy that feels well constructed, which also means it's not soft enough to stick and tear, nor is it hard enough to shred via friction. It's a nice sweet spot that should hold up to repetitive use. Atelier toys are a touch on the small side however, which could mean the extra stretching (if you're a larger guy) could wear the toy out sooner.

Cleaning/Maintenance

Upon opening Alchemist, you'll notice there's very little smell. It comes with a matte finish, sealed in plastic. The tricky part is the cleaning.

The deep pocket at the back is the perfect space for moisture to collect. It's deep, with ridges, and so you need to make sure that this area is completely dry, else you run the risk of mold forming at the base. Thankfully, this is easily taken care of by stuffing a towel down there, or using a drying stick to suck up the extra moisture. In my tests it didn't take much longer to wash and dry this option vs most other toys.

Rating

The first Atelier option comes out swinging...or sucking. It's a simple and effective toy with distinct chambers and different stimulation levels. The key to best use is how to manipulate the suction action the most. If you find the right stroke and squeeze combo, it is lovely.

Summary

Optimal Techniques

  • straight up and down
  • squeeze upon entry, release on backing out

Amount of Lube Required

    • small/medium - this allows you to still experience the textures. A high amount of lube however creates more noise and sucking sounds

    Buy This If

    • suction focused toys interest you
    • enjoy head stimulation more than shaft
    • want something that's not too soft, and not too hard

    Astrologer

The Astrologer has foreseen that the collapse of civilization, and the destruction of Earth, will be caused by a comet. Altering the trajectory of the comet requires a huge amount of energy; energy knows as "Star Fluid". And guess who can provide such a precious liquid...

    Astrologer Design

The toy itself is subtle. A simple outer shape, with a subtle geometric pattern on the opening. But the subtly ends here. The internals are aggressive, and maintain the planetary theme.

    What about the insides?

Much like the Alchemist, the entrance features a couple of large bumps (planets). Except they are not symmetrical, and this asymmetry allows for multiple sensations to take place depending upon your grip. The entrance is definitely tight, so make sure you're hard enough to enter it, otherwise you won't be able to traverse through.

The second section I describe it as the asteroid belt. Multiple tightly packed protrusions that don't easily give way. You can feel them tug back and forth as you stroke the toy, so it's not uncomfortable by any means, just very different to Alchemist.

The final section "Universe Planets", is an organic shaped sphere with multiple smaller bumps. This provides added suction, and a lot more noise. It's sloppier, and more intense than every other Atelier option, except Time Crafter. The small bumps also allow for twisting techniques, that massage just the tip. This is a great idea for those times you take a break from stroking but still want to feel stimulated.

    Durability

So far testing has revealed no durability areas or weak spots. Despite being a firmer toy, it doesn't feel like it's in any danger of tearing. It's also a single material with room to expand, so it should be accommodating to a variety of sizes.

    Cleaning/Maintenance

As with all Atelier toys, there is little smell upon opening the box. It comes powdered and sealed, neatly packed.

Cleanup is easy, even though there's lots of places for moisture to hide. The roundness of all the texture makes it easy for water and lube to be washed out. Drying is a bit more challenging because of the firmness of the toy, but it still compresses easy enough like all TPE toys do, to stuff a towel in it and really suck up the excess moisture.

    Rating

I don't know of many astrology themed onaholes, but this is the best one. The suction and the sounds it produces are great, it's easy to clean, and it's very stimulating, sometimes a little too much if your lube starts to dry out.

    Summary

    Optimal Techniques

    • straight up and down
    • twisting at the entrance
    • squeeze upon entry, release on backing out

    Amount of Lube Required

      • high - the firmness of the toy requires more lube to be able to penetrate effectively

      Summoner

      We've arrived at #3 - The Summoner.

      Summoner Design

Here is where we start to really explore changes in the outside of the toy. Summoner features intricate details on the outside of the toy. Fine filigree wraps around its soft body. It feels nice in the hands. The patterns represent something akin to incantations, because the summoner allows her body to be possessed by spirits. Those spirits contain knowledge passed onto the host, and more knowledge is retrieved via males magical essence. So it's the summoner's job to extract more knowledge.

      What about the insides?

Continuing with the above story, the toy is crafted to feel like there are two bodies contained within. The entrance is a larger hole, and inset from that is a smaller one. From there you'll move through the "Elemental Spirits" of earth, Fire and Water.

The uniqueness of the design here is really shown off. The entrance is a tight hole, but shallow, with intriguing bumps and ridges that you can play around in to stimulate the very tip of your head. The middle of the toy feels open and spacious. A low friction area that you can kind of treat as a rest stop if things get too intense. The last section, the water section, is a suction type orifice with small spines and a few raised bumps. You can immediately feel these when entering the water hole, gently massaging your head. It's a distinctive texture compared to the rest of the toy. Combined, you have constriction from the earth hole at the base of your shaft, an open feeling middle fire area, and a tighter, head stimulating finish with the water hole. Very interesting!

      Durability

There's no obvious signs of breakdown or degradation so far after a few uses. The texture on the outside remains crisp. The insides have a generous amount of thickness to them, so I can see this toy maintaining it's shape for a while.

      Cleaning/Maintenance

This one is easy to clean. Generous amount of space and pliability allow you to squeeze and dry the deepest parts with ease.

      Rating

This one is a sleeper hit for me. I prematurely wrote this one off because I wasn't that attracted to the box art. Some toys you can tell immediately what they're going for (like Alchemist), and this one didn't really speak to me. Never judge a book by its cover, or in this case, an onahole by its box art.

        Warlock

If you're looking for complexity, then you can stop right here and go pick this one up.

        Warlock Design

Continuing on the path of intrigate designs on TPE, Warlock stands out amongst every other onahole. You will not find the same pattern inside this onahole, anywhere.

Here we're trying to help a possessed white Magician, lured into a dark sabbath by a demon. The demon has hid her pure heart deep inside, which can only be unlocked by a man pouring "white liquid" inside here. Well....it's time to be a hero.

The ornate designs fit into the world of occult magic; pentograms, all seeing eyes, and heart motifs decorate the outside of the toy. But the real treat, is inside.

        What about the insides?

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well here is what the inside of Warlock looks like:

The first hole is shaped like a cross, providing a sense of penetration that gives way. Just after this, you'll encounter the first "hidden heart", which are large mounds with deep striations covering them. This is where you first experience the snug fitting designs of this toy.

The second area is a small diameter ring that acts as a secondary penetration point. You can feel every bit of this, whether you use long strokes, slow or fast, doesn't matter. This ring divides the toy into two areas with different feelings, but keeps that snug fit mentioned above.

The last "hidden heart" chamber is full of deep grooves, balls nestled inside organic looking crevices', and angular protrusions to top it all off. It's tough to describe how each section feels because the shapes are so different, but overall I'd describe the toy as being tight fitting with distinct sections to experiment in. It's one of a kind in this regard. It's also more firm than other options, and so you can feel more of all the bumps/ridges etc. compared to a softer item. The toy is symmetrical as well, and so you're going to get the same types of feelings no matter which way you turn it. I found that adding in a small twist during a stroke is the best way to experience all the nuance and complexity within the tunnel.

        Durability

With the toy being a little more on the firm side, that typically means a greater chance of splits and tears. So far that hasn't happened, granted I do baby my toys, but Warlock is kind of chunky. It's a single mold single material, and all the topography is set deep into the TPE, so nothing is going to break off.

        Cleaning/Maintenance

Definitely more difficult to clean this one. You're going to want to make extra sure you dry this out, because there's so many areas moisture can become trapped. And because the toy is more firm, it's more difficult to get anything deep into it for proper drying.

        Rating

In the back to back testing done, Warlock was the #2 favourite. Distinct sections that allow for a variety of techniques to employ, and the higher stimulation was a bonus. Every time I switched back to Warlock, things got more interesting. There is no suction on this toy; it's a different game with this one.

        Summary

        • teasing the secondary penetration ring
        • shallow penetration play

          Time Crafter

Our top selling Atelier onahole. You participate in the story of a genius scientist who invents a time machine, allowing you to travel to parallel worlds. A more simple story this time, not requiring any magic milk to make the machine function, but that's where the simplicity ends.

          Time Crafter Design

The time travel story is reflected directly onto the outside of the toy. Adorned with Roman Numerals, "colloids" which are similar to wheels of time, and other clock related accents. The decorative work hammers home this theme of Time. It also comes with a magic glove, which thematically combines with the toy to generate time travel when your stroke up and down. It's a manually powered time travel device. Maybe ToysHeart is on to something here...

          What about the insides?

Here's where the fun begins. This is a dual chamber onahole! That's basically unheard of in a compact toy.

Hole #1 (the top) - this is the suction hole, full of all kinds of bumps. Every stroke creates an extra pull and sound, with a satisfying "pop". It's not exceptionally loud or as strong as the others but it is very finely crafted. The shape and the texture are very satisfying, and tight. It hits this goldilocks zone of firmness and stimulation that allows you to keep going without making you burst too quickly. You can treat this as a sort of edging tool, comfortably raising your level of stimulation without becoming too sensitive.

Hole #2 is the area that will really finish you off. It's very snug fitting, and the cross shaped textures are highly stimulating. It's drastically different than the top hole, which is an amazing thing to consider because the the size of the toy is no bigger than other Atelier toys.

The internals are divided by a block of TPE, which effectively guide you to either hole when you're using enough lube. It takes a bit of practice to get into each hole consistently, and sometimes you'll press right into the TPE divider. It's not painful in any way though, and it's easy enough to back out and try again. Swapping back and forth between every Atelier version in this test was an experience, but every time I'd swap back to Time Crafter it would send me over the edge.

          Durability

This is where the biggest risk takes place. Each hole requires stretching to accommodate penetration. And because of the small size, you end up pushing against the walls of the toy. You can see the sides bulging, and for that reason I'd suspect that someday that'll be the breaking point; the material becomes too thin to support use and might cause a blowout. To be clear, this is speculation and did not happen to me. I'm only suggesting this might be the area to experience degradation the fastest.

          Cleaning/Maintenance

Two holes, double the cleaning. It's harder to clean this one. The middle divider tends to get in the way when trying to clean and dry, but it's worth it. The two holes are so different from each other that it makes up for any difficulty cleaning. It requires some extra diligence to maintain.

          Rating

This is the favourite. It's an incredible value.

            Dream Master

At the time of writing this, the Dream Master is the newest in the lineup. Humanity is basically falling apart, experiencing constant nightmares, trauma and hopelessness. The way to increase the positive aspects of humanity like hope, love, and most importantly, libido, is to collect samples of men's "energy". The Dream Master takes this energy and intertwines it with positive energies, thereby renewing humanity.

            Dream Master Design

The outside continues the fancier details from Summoner onward, but has more open space than Time Crafter. Symbols adorn the toy that represent alternate states of being, drawing some inspiration from Astrology. It also reflects the clothing the Dream Master is wearing; complex gown/dress with exposed shoulders. It's a nice touch. Speaking of touch....

            What about the insides?

The tunnel represents something like the chaotic distortions of a dream. Where reality is constructed in a somewhat disorganized way. And so the toy feels familiar; bumpy protrusions, deep ridges etc. but with an extra bit of...."what is that?". Dream Master doesn't have distinct sections like the other options. It feels more like one continuous hole that changes textures as you slide deeper. And so the end result is something that feels comfortably wrapped around you for the duration of play.

Overall it's on the lower side of stimulation. It gently coaxes you to orgasm, unless you a twisting technique. Because that's where this toy shines.

I found it to be most impressive when you penetrate it fully, and twirl/rotate the toy around. The end chamber has these wonderfully soft bumps that caress the whole head of your member. It is, dare I say, dream like.

            Durability

By the looks and testing done, this one should last a while. It's not soft enough to grip or stick to you, and not hard enough to cause tearing. It sits somewhere in the middle of soft and medium. Like any toy it's not recommended to turn it inside out, and I certainly didn't try that for any durability tests, but I can say it presents no weak areas that would be prone to unusual degradation.

            Cleaning/Maintenance

Super easy to clean this one. It stretches easily to scrub every portion, compress easily to dry it with a towel, and doesn't have any issues with sticking to drying rods. It's a quick cleanup.

            Rating

Another great toy in the lineup, though it took a bit of figuring to find just the right technique to use. But once you do, it's wonderful.

So You've Made It This Far!

And hopefully this post can guide you to make a better purchase. There is some more information worth considering. ToysHeart has provided this estimate, on how users would rank them. I mostly agree with this chart, but with some additional changes. Here's what our experience was:

              Thrill Level Ranking:
Time Crafter > Astrologer > Warlock > Alchemist > Summoner > Dream Master

              Enveloping Feeling:
Time Crafter > Warlock > Astrologer > Alchemist > Dream Master > Summoner

              Softness (Soft to Hard)
Dream Master > Summoner > Alchemist > Time Crafter > Warlock > Astrologer

And that's a wrap on the buying guide! Thanks for getting all the way through it, and if you did, and still have some questions, we're always here to help!

              Thanks!
